Leicester College Shortlisted for a TES FE Award

TES announced its short list for the TES FE Awards 2016. Leicester College has been shortlisted for Apprentice Programme of the year at this years’ awards.

The prestigious awards celebrate those who have had an outstanding influence on post-16 education in their area.

The Awards are open to anyone working in the UK FE sector, college; work-based learning providers; adult and community learning providers; offenders’ learning establishments; and specialist designated institutes.

The Apprenticeship Programme of the year is a new category for the 2016 awards.

TES FE editor Stephen Exley said: “The sheer range of entries for the 2016 TES FE Awards is a real showcase for the phenomenal work and groundbreaking initiatives that are going on within training providers and colleges throughout the UK.

“With area reviews spreading across the whole country, not to mention the impending apprenticeship levy and the skills devolution agenda on the way, it is the perfect time to highlight and celebrate the most exceptional individuals, teams and institutions that the sector has to offer.”
