Higher Education

Overview

At Leicester College you can choose from a wide range of higher education level qualifications in subjects ranging from business and computing, to health care and childcare, through to performing arts, teacher education and construction. There really is something for everyone.

Our undergraduate teaching team are industry experienced, and the excellent experience that they give to our students means that we see many of our BTEC and Access learners progress into higher education with us. Our excellence in teaching was recently recognised when we were award a Gold TEF.

Who are Leicester College Higher Education courses for?

To study a HE course with us you will need to have already achieved a level 3 qualification, or other suitable qualification if you are progressing onto a further HE course. We offer both full and part time study so that you can choose an option which is best for you. Our class sizes are deliberately smaller than you will find in universities and full time taught hours range from 12 to 15 hours per week. This ensure that you receive more quality one-to-one time with your lecturers.

Everyone studying with us benefits from a personal tutor and can access additional learning support if required.
