Launch Pad

Our Launch Pad programme is designed to help support you gain the qualifications and skills you need to progress onto the next phase of your education.

The course takes place over 2 days a week, plus 4 hours per week of home study. Whilst with us you will work towards achieving your Functionals Skills in maths and English.

Alongside this you will work towards gaining a Certificate in Employability and a Certificate in Creative Industries.

Launch Pad is ideal if you didn’t quite get the required grades the first-time around or if you are just looking for some inspiration and support before you start your next steps into education.

Careers and applications for the next course are also covered and we offer taster sessions in a variety of technical areas across the College to help you decide what’s next and set those all important goals

Further Information

No formal qualifications are required. We cover all entry levels and up to level 2.

The maximum number of students in each group is 16 and you will have a designated keyworker who will look after your pastoral needs.

You will need to successfully complete an induction programme which requires a minimum of 95% attendance
