English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

Our ESOL courses can help you to become more confident to read, write and speak English.

With better English you will find it easier to work, study and live here.

Many courses are free. Courses run all year round and often have lots of start dates.

It’s easy to apply. Find the course you are interested in and click on the “apply now” button.

We are also a registered IELTS centre. The International English Language Testing System or IELTS is an exam which is widely used for university and college admissions, immigration requirements, and business purposes.

Who are Leicester College’s ESOL courses for?

We have courses for people who want to improve their English at all levels.

When you apply we will assess your English to make sure that you are on the right course for you. Whether that is a beginner or want to study a degree in England.

We have courses that are taught in classrooms, as well as online courses.
