Your role will include (not limited to):

• How to mechanically assemble lifting platforms and masts, as well as wiring.
• Understand basic knowledge of servicing equipment on site.
• Quality checking and adjusting components or assembly against required specifications; for example testing and calibrating.
• Handing over completed components or assembly, this may include storage and commissioning.
• Re-instating work area and equipment.

• You will complete an Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship in Engineering Fitter.
• You will also complete the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering diploma.
• You will attend college one day per week at our Abbey Park campus.

• Once you have completed your apprenticeship you can progress onto a HNC programme or full-time employment.

The Apprentice Dental Nurse role will require you to support your colleagues in providing an excellent service to all our patients.

Your duties would typically include the following:

• Assisting the Dentist chair side during clinical procedures
• Keeping the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy, and sterile
• Ensuring the best care and welfare of patients
• Accurately completing patient clinical records as directed
• Ensuring adequate stock of materials and other items within the surgery
• Ensuring computer/written records are accurately maintained and securely stored
• Liaising with reception to ensure smooth patient communications and transfer of records
• Answering phone calls when directed

You will complete an advanced level 3 apprenticeship standard.

You will attend college one day every two weeks. This will be at Leicester College Freemens Park Campus.

Once you complete this apprenticeship you can progress in to university or a full time career

• The processes and techniques required to manufacture the different rectangular and circular ductwork components
• To read and understand CAD manufacture drawings
• To safely and effectively operate a range of both hand and power tools, including but not limited to; Mezz Saw, Grinder, Box and Pan Folder, Spot Welder etc

• Level 3 Advanced Level Apprenticeship qualification in Metal Fabrication
• The course is delivered as a day release.
• Other mandatory qualifications: Diploma in Advanced
• Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) – Level: 3
• Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) – Level: 3

• Successful completion of the apprenticeship modules may result in the offer of a full-time position
• This is providing the apprentice works within the company rules and guidelines which will be explained during their induction

• Prepare the working area, equipment, consumables and materials for setting out the components to be marked for drilling, cutting, welding or bending
• Produce good quality fabricated components for the use in structural and other fabricated steelwork
• Complete and dimensionally check the finished fabrication ready for inspection and report into the production control system
• Ensure that health and safety requirements are fully accounted for in all the above

• Metal fabricator Level 3
• Understand the main powered equipment used in steelwork fabrication (grinder, saw, drill, punch, guillotine, gas cutting equipment)
• Understand the main non powered hand tools used in steelwork fabrication (hammer, square, scriber, measuring tape, chalk, trammel)
• Understand the common component names section descriptions (beam, column, channel, plate, round hollow, square hollow, angle)
• Be aware of the basic material grades and various sizes of materials used
• Know the basics of quality documents and reporting systems

Other mandatory qualifications:

• Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) – Level: 3
• Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) – Level: 3
