Leicester College places joint top five in the National Student Survey

The National Student Survey results have been published placing Leicester College joint 5th of all the institutions delivering Higher Education (HE) programmes across the UK (Universities, College and Private Providers).

Overall, 94% of learners who took part in the survey said they were satisfied with Leicester College. This was over 10% higher than the government benchmark.

The survey asks learners to rate the College in the following categories:

·         Teaching

·         Assessment and Feedback

·         Academic Support

·         Organisation and Management

·         Learning Resources

·         Personal Development

·         Satisfied with Student’s Union

Leicester College saw an improvements in every area with an overall satisfaction increase of 12% since last year.

Marco Salotti, Higher Education Manager, said:

“It is important to get feedback from our learners. The survey helps us improve year on year and the results highlight the remarkable effort staff and lecturers put in to help the learners achieve success.”

“In addition to the fantastic QAA result, being placed so highly is a credit to the College and we aim to continue delivering at a high standard.”

Leicester College were reviewed by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) at the start of this year and were given a great report, highlighting the College met UK standards for HE providers.
