Leicester College hosts new January Open Day

Leicester College is holding an Open Day on Tuesday 14 January 2014, from 4pm -8pm across all three of its campuses.

Experts from each of the curriculum areas, careers and apprenticeship advice will be on hand to answer any questions

Leicester College is one of the largest and most successful colleges in the UK with a huge selection of courses and qualifications from entry level to university level.

The three main campuses – Abbey Park Campus, Freemen’s Park Campus and St Margaret’s Campus, will be open to give visitors a chance to chat with our current learners and tutors but also have a go at one of the many exciting demonstrations and activities taking place throughout the day.

Experts from each of the curriculum areas, careers and apprenticeship advice will be on hand to answer any questions.

A courtesy bus service will also be available to take prospective learners from campus to campus free of charge.

Free workshop programmes in Music and Sound, DIY, Sport and Leisure Fitness and Art and Design will also be available for visitors to take part in, from 6pm to 8pm.

These short taster masterclasses are designed to insight into the facilities and courses available at Leicester College.

These workshops are part of the part-time personal interest, hobby, careers development and Skills for Life courses commencing from January 2014.

Short courses include Bridal Hair and Spring Flower Arranging to Bakery Masterclass in Coffee and Danish and First Aid, there are many to choose from.

Leicester College will also host an Open Day on Saturday 8 March 2014 from 11 am to 2.30pm.
