Leicester College has been awarded a Gold Accreditation for providing high quality training for hospitality from leading industry body, the Hospitality Guild.

The College’s hospitality department was commended for its professional service to both learners and employers as well as delivering a high standard of provision.

Membership Operations Manager, Andy Doyle said:

“I am delighted to present the Gold accreditation award to Leicester College. The panel were extremely impressed with the College’s application and the feedback from the verification visit was tremendously positive. They were really impressed with the breadth of courses from food production to manufacturing to more traditional food prep. It showed a real commitment to making sure learners are ready for the workplace.”

Leicester College is one of three College’s awarded the Gold Accreditation within the Midlands and the only one within East Midlands.

In addition to the classroom-based training, Leicester College offers learners the opportunity to get experience working in a real restaurant through its taste restaurant, which has been given an AA College Rosette Award.
