Leicester College learners Rishi Kotak, Jordan Singh and Georgie Beech have been chosen to be the voices for the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy (PJEA), in a national radio advert campaign.

Rishi, Jordan and Georgie, who are all enrolled on the Level 3 Diploma in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at Leicester College, the East Midlands hub for the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy, initially auditioned in an in-house competition to appear in the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy campaign.

After being chosen by a panel of judges, the trio travelled to Capital FM’s Nottingham studios to take part in the recording.
Their voices will now be used in a radio advert, which will be played nationally, as part of the PJEA radio campaign which will be aired nationally from 21 October 2013 until Christmas.

Rishi said: “We were asked if we wanted to try out to be the national voice, so most of us on the course auditioned and thankfully the three of us were successful. It’s been a surreal experience.”

“It was a fantastic opportunity for us to go to Nottingham for the recording. Now when I hear back the snippets I think, It’s me!”
Jordan said: “It’s been a really great experience for me. It seems strange knowing I’ll be one of the voices that will be part of a national campaign but it’s exciting at the same time.”

Georgie added: “I feel proud to be asked to represent one of the voices. It’s a great honour.”

This is a great coup for us and it demonstrates the talent we nurture here at Leicester College.”
