There’s something special about studying a university level course at Leicester College. Based in a central location it’s easy to access our campuses, which are equipped with industry standard facilities, and you’ll be supported by our passionate and knowledgeable staff.

There are lots of ways to gain a university level qualification, from 1 year full-time HNCs to part-time level 6 professional graduate certificates. There is also a large range of subjects to choose from.

We partner with De Montfort University for a lot of our higher education courses. This means that as a student on one of their accredited courses you get access to all of the services and facilities offered to other DMU students, including the library, Student Union, accommodation, and sports centre.

Costs and fees

You might be worried about the cost of education. You don’t need a bulging bank balance to continue or get back into education at Leicester College.

In 2023/24 the cost of a full-time course was £6,165 a year (except for accelerated degrees which cost £9,250 a year). That’s £6,170 less for a 2 year full-time qualification than at most universities.

Part-time courses costs between £2,000 and £4,110 a year.

As when you study full-time at a university you can apply for loan to pay fees, as well as a maintenance loan to help with living expenses. You can find out more on the government’s website.
