Shasine: A Determined Journey into Business and Entrepreneurship

Shasine McCook is passionate about business and entrepreneurship and is currently studying the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy Enterprise and Entrepreneurship BTEC Level 3 at Leicester College.

“I always knew I wanted to do business and entrepreneurship, so I’d applied for the course even before I had done my GCSEs!” begins Shasine.

Standout Moments

During the course, the students were taken on a trip to an innovation hub in Milton Keynes to learn more about business innovation. They also got involved in a podcast about getting into the world of business. Shasine believes that the course has “helped with problem-solving skills, helped me to become more open to doing things, and strengthened my people skills.”
