Hands-on learning in Motor Vehicle Engineering
Ben Williams is studying T Level Motor Vehicle Engineering at Leicester College.
“I had looked into engineering after GCSEs and found that Leicester College was the closest college,” says Ben.
“The course is very hands on with the cars and engineering. I am definitely enjoying the course with a particular highlight for me so far being the motor vehicle workshop. I am really looking forward to the electric vehicles project next year.”
Looking at aeronautical apprenticeship
“I liked the idea of a work placement as it has good credentials, so I applied to Meggitt for work experience, which is more in the aeronautical side. I hope to do a degree apprenticeship within the workplace,” adds Ben.
A quality recommendation
Ben concludes: “I highly recommend the course and the engineering department. All of the facilities and teaching are high quality, and the teachers are so hardworking and committed which really makes the overall learning experience at the College better.”
