Summary
Apprentice will be working towards the Engineering Maintenance Technician – Dual Discipline apprenticeship, the apprentice will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities across electrical, mechanical and control systems.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Maintenance Activities:
Assist with planned and preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment reliability
Support reactive maintenance and fault diagnosis on manufacturing plant and equipment
Help maintain electrical and mechanical systems, such as:
Motors (single and three-phase) Power supplies and low voltage electrical distribution
Actuators, pumps, valves, fans and gearboxes
Sensors, controls and basic programmable systems (where applicable)
