We are looking to train someone who is interested in the creative aspect of producing high end furniture and displays for commercial and domestic environments. Assuming you would be starting at entry level we are driven to train our apprentices and build long standing careers with them.

What you’ll do at work

  • Initially shadowing senior joiners with entry level tasks to get an understanding of procedures and processes. You will be given some simple assembly tasks and also be trained on using power tools and machinery such as table saw and router (subject to age) and will expand on this as you progress through your training

  • Assisting the team in completing projects on time

  • Completing assembly tasks under supervision

  • Preparing finished items for despatch

  • Assisting in general workshop duties

  • Maintaining tools and equipment

  • Emptying offcut bins and general house keeping

  • Learning and understanding joinery best practices

Working hours

Monday to Thursday 7.00am -4.30pm, Friday 8.00am - 12.00pm 40 hours a week.

Essential qualifications

GCSE in:

  • English (grade 2/D)

  • Maths (grade 2/D)
