Working alongside other fully skilled bench joiners, gaining knowledge of the joinery manufacturing industry at the highest level, learning the trade and achieving a recognised qualification.
Working week
Monday - Thursday, 7 .00am - 5.00pm (can be flexible on the start time)
38 hours a week
What will the apprentice be doing?
Duties include:
Learning basic joinery skills
move between different departments
using hand tools
understanding risks and housekeeping
Learn to manufacture doors, windows and stairs.
Your training plan
The successful applicant will work towards the Bench Joinery Level 2 Apprenticeship, attending Leicester College Freemen's Park Campus 2 days every 2 weeks.
Requirements
Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
English (grade 2 or equivalent)
Maths (grade 2 or equivalent)
