At Leicester College we offer an extensive Apprenticeships programme, which helps our learners to develop the skills and experiences within the workplace that will take you to the next level in your chosen career path.
Apprenticeships are a perfect route if you want to lay the foundations for a rewarding career in a specific industry, or you are hoping to retrain in a new industry.
So what is an Apprenticeship?
An Apprenticeship training scheme allows you earn while you learn - and gain a work-based qualification at the same time.
These are ideal for anyone aged 16 or over who is new to a job role, or has been working in industry for some time and would like a recognised qualification or to improve their skills.
There are three types of Apprenticeship:
Intermediate Apprenticeship (Level 2)
Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)
Higher-Level Apprenticeship (Level 4/5)
Each level comes with its own qualification, as well as Functional Skills and Technical Certificates.
Some Apprenticeships do have entry requirements remember, and you must have an Apprenticeship employer prior to being accepted onto a training course. You can always call us on 0116 224 2240 for more information.
