Childcare application

- If the child is eligible for 15/30 Hours FEEE, this needs to be prioritised to cover College related hours and be deducted and reflected in your weekly charges.
- Leicester College will only pay for childcare sessions when attendance at College is compulsory. In exceptional circumstances, a student may be allowed extra sessions out of college time. This decision is made at the discretion of Leicester College. Extra funding will only be paid with written confirmation from Leicester College & agreed in advance.
- I/We agree to the amount Leicester College will be paying per week as per confirmation email sent
- I/We agree to inform the college in advance of any increase/decrease in childcare charges and changes in number of sessions provided.
- BACS payment will be made payable to a childminder or a nursery, monthly or 4 weekly in arrears. An invoice must be provided for payment to be made.

- It is the childcare providers responsibility to check that the amount payable as per confirmation email are correct. If you identify any payment discrepancies please contact childcareadmin@leicestercollege.ac.uk as a matter of urgency
- Payments will cease upon the student’s withdrawal from the learning programme/college. The amount agreed is therefore subject to the student’s full attendance on their course of study.
- I/We will inform the college immediately if a student does not make use of the nursery according to their agreed schedule.
- I/We will inform the college immediately if a student’s attendance becomes a cause for concern.
- I/We understand that Leicester College will only pay for the student whilst they are attending their learning programme at Leicester College. If a student withdraws from a course Leicester College will pay a maximum 1 months notice only and will withdraw all further funding for the student.
- Due to Government funding restrictions, Leicester College cannot guarantee to meet any price increase in childcare fees during this academic year
