Vincent van Gogh in Britain

The Arts Society Leicester present Vincent van Gogh in Britain

Speaker – John Iddon

From March to August 2019 Tate Britain will open its first Van Gogh exhibition since 1947. His stay in Britain changed his vision of the world and himself, encouraging him to become an artist. This lecture is an exciting opportunity to look at the impact Britain had on Van Gogh as well as the enormous influence he had on British artists.
