BBC Radio 4 present The Kitchen Cabinet
Hosted by Jay Rayner (Guardian/Observer restaurant critic and MasterChef guest judge) The Kitchen Cabinet travels round the UK stopping at a different place each week to dig into their culinary quirks. The aim of the show is to discuss local food history, interesting delicacies and famous dishes from the area in a lively and informative manner. Each week Jay is joined by four experts from across the cookery landscape from food historians to top chefs, food writers to culinary scientists and psychologists. The discussion is further enriched by questions from the live audience and invited persons of local food interest.
