Philharmonia Orchestra and Soft Touch Arts present Symphonize
Symphonize is a pioneering creative partnership between the Philharmonia Orchestra and Soft Touch Arts, immersing young people in Leicester in music composition and production.
Together with Philharmonia musicians and Soft Touch reggae, dub, hip-hop and spoken word artists, participants explore fusing classical repertoire and style with urban genres through taster sessions leading to an intensive week-long creative project. A synchronic visual performance will accompany the music, created by the young people themselves.
Join young people from Babington Academy, The Winstanley School and Ellesmere College and musicians from the Philharmonia and Soft Touch Arts, as they present the culmination of this landmark project.
