Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood

Glenfield Drama Group present Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood

Glenfield Drama Group, founded in Glenfield, Leicester in 1965, has been staging performances for nearly 60 years. In 2024 the dedicated cast and crew are appearing at Sue Townsend Theatre for the first time with their pantomime Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood, which is set in Sherwood Forest and the city of Nottingham (Oh, yes it is!!).

Full of singing, dancing and lots of panto slapstick, the show will be sure to provide the whole family with plenty of laughs, thrills, and the occasional terrible joke. Will Robin and his band of Merry Men be able to keep Jack & Gill safe from the clutches of the Sheriff? Book now to find out!

Starring a talented cast of adults including Sarah Jane Edwards as Robin Hood, Anne Bland as The Sheriff, Conrad McEwan as Nurse Tinkle and Lucy Carpenter as Maid Marian along with the amazing Merry Men, Nick & Mike the comedy duo, 25 children and a fairy thrown in for good luck … it’s a show not to be missed!
