He’s a heavyweight who’s famous for getting the better of Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015 to become the WBA (Super), IBF, IBO, WBO and The Ring incorporate heavyweight champ. Fury was refused the opportunity to fight for Ireland at the Olympic Games but was subsequently permitted to fight for Ireland and Great Britain after following his lineage to Belfast. He made his professional boxing debut in December 2008 when he got the better of Bela Gyongyosi. In 2009 Fury fought John McDermott to win the English Heavyweight title and once again got the better of McDermott in June 2010 to win the vacant English Heavyweight title. He conquered Dereck Chisora in July 2011 to win the British and Commonwealth Heavyweight titles.
