OET is an international English test that assesses the language proficiency of healthcare professionals. It is approved by governments, regulators and educators for visas, registration, study and work. 

It is accepted for registration in 12 healthcare professions. 

It is owned by Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment, a venture between Cambridge Assessment English and Box Hill Institute. 

Taking your OET 

We are the only OET centre in Leicester. We hold tests one Saturday once a month, at our Abbey Park Campus.

You can book your test directly through OET. The test costs $587 AUD, including a booking fee, which is approximately £310. It includes an online preparation package, practice tests, masterclasses and daily language tips. 

Getting your results 

Your Statement of Results will be available on the myOET portal approximately 16 business days after your test date. 

You will receive a score of 500-0 for each section. This scale is in ten-point increments and mapped against a separate letter grade for each sub-test. There is no over grade.
