Leicester College has partnered with Tuan Feng Si Yuan Experimental School, Hubei Province, China to offer a fully-funded international cultural exchange opportunity for our learners.
How would you like to spend one full week at the Tuan Feng Si Yuan Experimental School learning about Chinese language and culture and sharing your knowledge of life in Britain?
The programme is fully funded by the School and covers the cost of economy flights from the UK to China, airport transfers in the UK and China, visa application fees, travel insurance, accommodation and three meals a day. All you have to pay for is the cost of your own passport and spending money. We do ask that you pay a £300 refundable deposit to secure your place (this will be refunded when you return from the trip).
When is the exchange?
We hope to be able to offer the International Cultural Exchange Programme again in the future.
The last trip took place during the Easter break in 2018, from 27 March to 4 April. Our Chinese partner is currently working to further develop the programme so that it includes more schools in China in the future.
Who can go?
To be considered for the programme you must be a full-time Leicester College student, aged between 18 and 20 at the time of the trip, and fluent in English. An outgoing personality and an interest in other countries and cultures would be a distinct benefit.
You must hold a valid passport to cover the period of travel.
