It’s congratulations to Leicester College graphic design lecturer, Lucy Stewart-Murray, who recently received an award from Loughborough University.

Lucy works part-time for Leicester College, based at St Margaret’s Campus, while she’s finishing her degree in graphic design at Loughborough University, specialising in illustration. Lucy spent a placement year at the College during her degree course, working as a supervisor and teaching assistant.

Lucy’s contribution during her placement was recently recognised by the careers network at Loughborough University when she was ranked as Highly Commended in the ‘Working in the public/third sector’ category of their awards.

Lucy says: “I was grateful to be presented with this award by the University and have really enjoyed my time at Leicester College. I’m now working part-time after my placement and have applied for a PGCE course so I can hopefully go on to teach full-time.”
