Leicester College shortlisted for Building The Future Awards 2026

Leicester College has been shortlisted for the Best HE/FE Provider Supporting Careers in Construction at the Building The Future Awards 2026.

The national Building The Future Awards celebrate exceptional young talent, emerging professionals, and industry leaders across the UK construction and built environment sectors. The fourth annual awards ceremony will take place at the ICC Birmingham on 5 November 2026.

The shortlisting recognises Leicester College's outstanding contribution to developing the next generation of construction professionals. Through close partnerships employers, local

authorities and industry partners, the College equips more than 1,300 construction students each year with the technical skills, practical experience and confidence needed to succeed.

The College prepares students for successful careers in the construction industry through industry-trained professional teaching, state-of-the-art facilities, as well as initiatives such as Women in Construction, and investing in green technologies and modern methods of construction.
