Leicester College partners with Lincrusta to train new approved installers for specialist wallcoverings

Leicester College has formed a new partnership with Lincrusta to help train approved installers for the company’s specialist wallcovering.
Lincrusta is a natural wallcovering made from linseed oil, still produced in the UK using the same time-honoured craftsmanship as when it was invented in 1877. Using a unique manufacturing process, the range consists of wallcoverings, friezes, borders and Dado panels, and design styles range from classic to contemporary.
The Lincrusta wallcovering requires specialist installation skills, so Leicester College is working with the company to offer one-day training courses, run at the College’s Freemen’s Park Campus in the city. The training is designed to equip decorators with the skills and techniques required to install and finish Lincrusta professionally and confidently.
Participants must be qualified at NVQ Level 2 or above in Painting and Decorating to participate in the training. Successful applicants will be awarded a Lincrusta ‘Skills’ Card and will be listed on the company’s database of approved UK installers for commercial opportunities.
The next courses to be offered will be their Stage 1: Introduction to Installing Lincrusta.

The cost is £200 + VAT.
