Free open day at Leicester College Information, Advice and Application Support Hub to help with career choices

Leicester College is hosting a free Information, Advice and Application Support Hub open day on Thursday 30 April 2026 for people thinking about taking extra qualifications to help them get back into work or to take the next step in their career.

The open day will be held from 11am to 4pm at the College’s City Skills Centre (74-76 Charles Street, Leicester LE1 1FB). Booking is not required.

The team at Leicester College will be available to chat through options, including skills for work, adult maths and English, and ESOL courses. These courses are free (subject to eligibility) and are designed to help build confidence and progress. At the event, people will also be able to speak with impartial careers advisors for expert guidance on their next steps.

A spokesperson from Leicester College said: “Taking a step into education to help with your employment or career prospects can be hugely beneficial for many people, currently in work or looking for a job. At the open day, we will have staff on hand who can help with the choices available, to show how further education can support you and your career, and how Leicester College can help you to achieve your career goals.”
