Free Easter Eggstravaganza community event at Leicester College

Leicester College is hosting a free Easter community event, open to the public and packed with fun activities for children and families. The Easter Eggstravaganza event will take place from 10am to 1pm on Tuesday 15 April 2025 at the College’s Abbey Park Campus.

Children will receive a free lunch while parents can enjoy discounted hot drinks throughout the event.

People can follow the Easter trail and take part in a variety of engaging and creative experiences, including:

• Plant a sunflower – a hands-on activity where children can plant and take home their very own sunflower

• Biscuit decorating – a chance to get creative with icing, sprinkles and toppings

• Bracelet/keyring making – design and create a unique bracelet or keyring to take home

• Colouring competition – fun for all ages with exciting prizes to be won

• Mini disco – enjoy music and dancing in a lively and friendly atmosphere

• Easter-themed sports – join in on fun and active games inspired by the season

• Face painting – transform into a favourite character with the help of talented face painters

All activities are completely free and each child will receive an Easter egg to take home.
