At Leicester College we strive to support all our international students.
In our International Office we have dedicated staff to support you by providing:
- advice and guidance regarding courses and immigration status;
- assessment of overseas qualifications;
- help with applying for and extending student visas;
- support with finding accommodation.
Once you enrol at Leicester College, you will also be entitled to use the services and provision offered by Student Services.
The International Office also sends out a regular International Students Newsletter to keep our international students up-to-date on campus activities, events in the city, cultural festivals and holidays and issues associated with their study. A copy of the most recent International Students Newsletter can be requested from the International Office.
International Student Enrichment Activities
On arrival in Leicester, the International Office will provide sessions to welcome you to the College and to provide additional information and support to help you integrate into the College and into the City of Leicester itself.
In addition to coursework, a series of enrichment activities are available for our international students. A range of activities and events are generally offered – some specifically for international students and some open to all College students – designed to help you make new friends and enrich your understanding of the UK’s different cultures and traditions. An enrichment timetable of activities will be provided to you at enrolment.
