The information, advice and application support hub

Thinking about getting back into work or taking the next step in your career? Need maths or English GCSEs to move forward at work?

Come along to our FREE Information, Advice and Application Support Hub and get the help you need in one place.

Our friendly team will be on hand to chat through your options, including staff from skills for work, adult maths and English, and ESOL courses. These courses are free (subject to eligibility) and designed to help you build confidence and progress.

You can also speak, for free, to one-to-one with our impartial careers advisors for expert guidance on your next steps.

No data? No problem. We’ve got free Wi-Fi, and if you need a device, PCs will be available while you apply. Our friendly student services advisors can help you with your application.

We know that taking the first steps back into education can be worrying. Staff from our student wellbeing team will also be on hand to talk about the support we also offer.

There’s no need to book. Just pop in to the City Skills Centre on Charles Street to get support, and take the next step towards your future.

Please note, only limited curriculum staff listed above will be available. If you have already made an application to study with us you do not need to attend.
