Hoops and Goals Fest marks the official launch of Leicester College’s new sports academies for Men's Football, Women's Football, and Men's Basketball! This exciting event will bring invited students and local schools together to celebrate sport, skill, and community.

What to Expect:

• Live demonstrations - coaching opportunity with live skill showcases.

• Interactive games and match play - get involved and test your skills.

• Networking Opportunity - learn more about Leicester College’s sports courses and future opportunities.

• Interactive stalls - explore stalls from local gyms, participate in fun activities, and grab some freebies.

• Exciting prize draw - be in the chance to win prizes from Leicester City Football Club and Leicester Riders!

The event will take place on Tuesday 29th April at the Mattioli Arena, home of the Leicester Riders, conveniently located next to our Abbey Park Campus. With three courts, we’ll be running football and basketball sessions in partnership with Leicester City Football Club and Leicester Riders, alongside a networking opportunity with industry experts from Everyone Active and The Gym Group during the event from 3 - 5pm.

This invitation-only event promises to be an exciting opportunity to connect, compete, and learn the different pathways in the sports industry. We look forward to welcoming students, local schools, sports professionals, and community partners for a day of energy, engagement, and fun!
