You will gain insight into the diversity of roles in healthcare and learn the importance of collaboration at all levels.
The course covers culturally diverse organisations, cross-cultural issues, and values. It provides you with opportunities to enter or advance in healthcare jobs or pursue higher education, such as a pre-registration degree in allied health or nursing.

You will address current health and care issues affecting society, focusing on integrated, compassionate, and person-centered approaches. For level 4, you will complete at least 225 hours of work experience in a healthcare setting, and for level 5, you will complete at least 450 hours of work experience in a healthcare setting.
The Pearson BTEC level 4 Higher National Certificate in Healthcare Professions’ Support for England offers you a broad introduction to the subject area through a mandatory core of learning. At level 4, you will develop a broad knowledge and awareness of key aspects of the healthcare sector through seven core units, including one unit assessed by a Pearson-set assignment.
