This exciting 7-week course, will take place in the Abbey Park Campus Theatre. The Intermediate Acting: Refining the Craft course is designed for adults who have completed our beginners' acting course and are looking to further develop their acting skills. This course delves deeper into acting techniques, character development, and scene work.

This is a beginner's course and during this course you will learn how to work with buttercream, fresh cream and ganache. You will also learn different piping techniques. You will learn various techniques including creating flowers, basket weave and other designs.

This course is for beginners and those that want to learn the basics. Each week you will be guided through a small sewing project for example, creating your own needle case, piped pin cushion and making a zipper purse.

Interested in graphics or improving your skill set with Adobe products? Join us for this short part-time programme to learn the basics of Illustrator. From designing your own website, graphics or logos this course will give you the knowledge to fly solo as a freelance designer or further study into other Adobe design software.

This is a beginner's course and during this course you will learn how to work with sugarpaste and icing to create cake toppers and make cake decorations. A fantastic way to perfect your cake decorating skills or learn a new technique. It will help you enhance your skills and impress your friends at the next tea party.

You will explore the potential and limitations of plastic clay through the construction of slab-built ceramics. Using traditional techniques and source materials you will design a range of slab-built, functional pieces and produce one of these. You will learn how to create surface texture and pattern using impressing, stamping and ‘sgraffito’ techniques, as well as printing and surface transfers or ‘decals’. These techniques will be developed using found objects as well as pottery decoration tools and methods.

Introduction to Abode Photoshop is a fantastic course opportunity for those wanting to progress into a creative role or enhance their current skill set. Covering a wide range of basic skills we will help you develop your confidence to use the tools within the programme and knowledge on editing photographs to a professional level.
