We offer a broad range of accountancy courses for learners at levels 1, 2, 3, and 4. The courses offered include professional Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) awards at different levels, which are much sought-after qualifications which are widely recognised in industry. We also offer apprenticeships and university-level qualifications in accounting, such as the level 4 Accounting Professional Diploma.

Who are Leicester College’s accounting courses for?
These courses are for anyone aged 16 or over (which level you study will depend on your existing skills, experience, and qualifications), and we also offer some accounting courses on a part-time basis to allow you to fit study around your existing commitments. For adult learners wishing to join a course, you may be offered an interview and your previous experience can be taken into account if you don’t meet the standard entry requirements. Learners aged 16-19 will follow a study programme which will include GCSE or functional skills English and maths if you don’t already have your grade 4 (C).
Further Information
Some courses will require you to purchase a coursebook. The AAT professional qualifications are assessed via exams. Successfully completing an AAT level 3 course will allow you to apply for a degree course in ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, or join the workforce as a qualified professional.

It’s hard going back into education after so many years. The tutors are really supportive and getting good feedback really gives me a boost.
