This course runs at St Margaret's campus each Thursday from 6pm - 9pm for 7 weeks, starting on 13th March 2025 and ending 8th May 2025 This course is for adults aged 19+. Leicester College has a long tradition of teaching outstanding digital photography, printing, design, and online editing and publishing courses. Our professional studio, darkrooms and digital editing suites (along with a little help from lecturers and supervisors) provide outstanding facilities for full- and part-time students. The aim of this workshop is to confidently use studio lighting. Learning the basics of lighting techniques and framing your subject. You will get to know all parts of the equipment as well as create your own self guided project. You must have good previous Digital SLR experience. We can adapt delivery to different makes and types.

We can adapt delivery to different makes and types.
No formal qualifications required, however, you must have DSLR experience and or completed the previous Digital Photography Short course. A keen interest in photography is essential.
There is no formal end of course assessment, only a series of in-class practical exercises and tasks. A group exhibition can be arranged and your individual targets will be set by your tutor.

An SD card and your own digital camera is required.
