Unvented Hot Water Reassessment – C0705

Unvented Hot Water Reassessment is an assessment programme for fully qualified engineers who already hold a full unvented qualification as part of their portfolio of qualifications. This is a half day re-assessment to bring existing knowledge up to date and guarantee compliance with the Building Regulations that set out the mandatory requirements for all unvented installations.
This is a full cost course. There is no fee remission available and you cannot apply for an advanced learner loan to pay for your fees.

Year 1

You will learn about legislative changes that have taken place since your previous renewal. Unvented Hot Water is fast becoming a Industry standard. Unvented systems provide high flow rates of hot water and balanced supplies to existing fittings. You will be required to pass a multiple choice and written question assessment paper on unvented hot water systems.

You will be required to prove that you have already undertake the assessment.

Reassessment is a paper based theory assessment only, designed to ensure that engineers understand any amendments that have taken place due to the updating of building regulations since your previous certification.

Individuals will be able to join a suitable self certification body using the Unvented Reassessment Qualification they have gained. This enables the engineer to self certify their installation work, as complying with building regulations. By holding the Unvented Hot water qualification engineers will have formal recognition of their installation knowledge and skills.

Apply online via the College website. You will be contacted to attend an interview if required, or you will be sent a conditional offer according to the entry requirements for the course. You will then be invited in to enrol for your chosen course of study.

For enrol and pay courses: Once you have decided to take the course, you need to fill in a short learner details form online and pay the course fee. Once you have done this, you will receive an electronic confirmation of enrolment and payment.
