Understanding Mental Health Certificate level 3 – C6674

Are you interested in understanding mental health and wellbeing? This is a great course for you if you’re working in a sector where you deal with vulnerable people. Can’t come into College? Not to worry, you can study from home via our distance learning online learning platform. There is no need to attend College meaning you can balance your study and development around your other commitments. Year 1

The qualification consists of the following mandatory units:

Understanding the context of mental health and well being
Promotion of mental health and well being
Mental health problems: associated issues and consequences
Understanding mental ill-health
Working in mental health

You will study social views, how the political landscape has changed, and the roles of professionals who provide mental health services. This is a great follow on course from the level 2 Certificate in the Awareness of Mental Health.

You must be over 19, living in England.

You will receive robust feedback from your tutor looking at how to further develop your understanding of the topic and progress academically.

Additional Costs

If this is your first full level 3 qualification you will be eligible for full funding.

Otherwise, tuition fees are £449. You can pay in instalments or you could be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the cost of the course.
