This course will include theory and the practical knowledge of threading as a method of hair removal. Practical and theoretical knowledge related to this method of hair removal will be taught along with communication and consultation. Health, hygiene, and safety along with knowledge of contra-indications and contra-actions will be discussed as well as homecare and aftercare advice. You will observe a demonstration of the routine for eyebrow threading and lip/chin.
What You'll Learn
During this short course, you will learn the process and procedure for threading and the related theory, and the homecare and aftercare advice appropriate to threading will also be included. A combination of practical and theoretical knowledge will be studied to allow a full understanding of this subject and support progression onto other related courses.
You must be aged 19 or over to undertake this course.
No previous experience is required but an interest in beauty would be helpful.
How you will be assessed
There are no exams or formal assessments on this course. Your progress will be supported through discussions with your tutor and the work you produce on the course.
