This course is designed for all abilities and will cover the fundamentals of life drawing, combining both technical drawing skills with observational skills. We will focus on recording the elements that make up the human form.
During the course you will have the opportunity to draw models from life as well as from photo references. You will be introduced to a variety of drawing techniques and materials such as traditional drawing with graphite and charcoal as well as more experimental drawing techniques working with mixed media collage, ink and pastels.
The aim of this course is to help you establish and/or develop a competent and responsive life drawing practice.
Life drawing is accessible to all and provides a fantastic opportunity to improve your drawing skills and acquire knowledge of anatomy such as proportion, scale, and gesture in a supportive and relaxed environment.
You will study with an industry specialist. The College has excellent Art studios, current IT suites and the latest Adobe software for you to successfully learn in a friendly adult environment.
