Course Overview

This course is for students whose first language is not English. You will to study reading, writing or speaking and listening at either Entry One, Entry Two, Entry Three, Level One or Level Two. This course is available at various times of the week. You may be able to take an accredited exam at the end of the course.

What You'll Learn

Year 1

This course follows the Adult ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Core Curriculum helping students to operate and achieve or work towards a Reading, Writing and/or Speaking and Listening qualification at national ESOL standards.
You will learn how to improve your English language skills using various techniques.
This course is part-time so it can fit around your current learning or personal commitments.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements

You will be able to apply online. You may also have an initial assessment interview to ascertain if you are operating at the required language level.

How you will be assessed

You will be required to take or work towards an accredited exam at the end of the course either Entry One, Entry Two, Entry Three, Level One or Level Two
