What You'll Learn
Year 1
During this online course, you will learn about the following topics:
• to understand basic concepts in sustainability
• to develop a basic understanding of the environmental impacts of the creation of goods and services
• to understand what makes up a sustainable community
This course will also help to develop your literacy and IT skills.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements, however, a reasonable level of literacy is expected i.e. you can write and speak to make yourself understood.
It would be also useful to be able to use a keyboard although support is available.
How you will be assessed
This qualification is assessed through the completion of an Ascentis-devised multiple-choice test that is carried out at the completion of the course.

In receipt of one of the following benefits: Universal Credit, JSA or ESA (Employment and Support Allowance Work Related Action Group) or low waged.
Evidence of benefits will be required on the application.

What Happens Next
Apply online via the College website. You will be contacted to attend an interview if required, or you will be sent a conditional offer according to the entry requirements of the course. You will then be invited in to enrol for your chosen course.
