This is a distance learning course for people aged 19 and over that covers customer service within the health and social care sector has never before had a qualification specifically related just to that. This course will open up students’ awareness to just how important it is to see the patient as the customer too. The qualification explores how to ensure good service delivery looking at everything from communication to understanding specific needs.

What You'll Learn
The qualification consists of the four following mandatory units.
Unit 1 Preparing to deliver customer service in health and social care settings
Unit 2 Teamwork in health and social care settings
Unit 3 Effective communication for health and social care
Unit 4 Understand the specific needs of a customer accessing health and social care services
You must be over 19 to enrol.
If aged 19-24 you need to have a full level 2 qualification to be eligible for funding. If over 24 prior learning does not apply.
You must have lived in the EU for the past 3 years and currently live in England to be eligible for funding.

If the course is longer than one year the total fees are for the first year only and further fees may apply in future years. All fees are based on a ‘home’ learner status. Please contact us for information on overseas fees.
