This is a blended learning course where you have the opportunity to do online and classroom-based learning. This three-week course is designed to support individuals on the new Government Kick Start programme although you do not have to be on the kick start programme to do the course. This course will enable you to gain valuable office and contact centre skills, areas covered include; introduction to business, administration and customer service, effective use of ICT in the workplace, the science behind success, strategies to develop your confidence, caring for your mental health and well-being, infection control and prevention, personal safety, health and safety, how to research and apply for job opportunities, as well as creating a tailored CV and application form.

How you will be assessed
When attending classroom-based sessions, you will complete a variety of short practical and written tasks that will be formally assessed by your tutor to create a portfolio of written evidence. When completing online qualifications, you will complete mock short tests following completion of the learning for each unit and when you are confident, you will then complete the multiple-choice online exam.

Evidence of benefits will be required on the application.

What Happens Next
Apply online via the College website. You will be contacted to attend an interview if required, or you will be sent a conditional offer according to the entry requirements of the course. You will then be invited in to enrol for your chosen course.
