AQA Level 3 Certificate Level 3 Mathematical Studies (1350) is assessed through two exams in May / June every year.
• Paper 1: Mathematical Applications (1 hour 30 minutes)
• Paper 2: Mathematical Processes (1 hour 30 minutes)
Paper 1 focuses on the application of mathematical concepts and techniques to real-world problems. Students will be expected to solve problems in a variety of contexts, such as business, engineering, and science.
Paper 2 focuses on the development of mathematical skills and understanding. Students will be expected to use mathematical notation and terminology, solve mathematical problems, and communicate their mathematical thinking clearly and effectively.
Each paper is worth 60 marks, and the total marks available for the qualification are 120.

To achieve a pass in AQA Level 3 Certificate Level 3 Mathematical Studies (1350), students must achieve a total of 40 marks or more.
