Course Overview

This qualification looks at signs and symptoms to look out for and how to support and monitor an unwell child. It is a great qualification for anyone working with children or for a parent or guardian wanting to know more. Everything is completed from home meaning you can plan your study around your commitments.

What You'll Learn

Year 1

The course consist of 3 units which explore the following:

Understand how to provide a safe and healthy environment for babies and young children
Understand common childhood illnesses
Understand health emergencies and specific health conditions in an early years setting

You will receive text books for each unit to support you with your studies.

Entry Requirements

The level 2 distance learning courses are funded which is great news. The only criteria is that you are over 19, have lived in the EU for the past 3 years and currently live in England.

How you will be assessed

This is a paper based course, resource packs contain your assessment books and text books. You will receive robust feedback from your tutor looking at how to further develop your understanding of the topic and progress academically.
