Course Overview

Our short course will build confidence for life and work. It will improve your self-esteem. It will help to empower you through mindful reflection. You do this by seeing and using your personal strengths to achieve new or existing goals. This is a great course for anyone who has not been in work or school. They would like to explore new paths and help you make some new friends.

Year 1

This course will transform you. You will learn strategies to boost your self-esteem. You will also learn to develop resilience and a growth mindset. These skills will help you to thrive in school and at work.

You will learn how to:
Boost self-confidence and self-empowerment
Improve mindfulness and self-reflection.
Increased sense of empowerment
Work readiness and career motivation

After you finish this course, you will gain greater confidence and self-esteem. You will also start to plan your professional journey. You will be better able to face challenges. You will make informed choices in the future. You will succeed in your chosen path.

How you will be assessed

When attending classroom-based sessions, you will complete a variety of short practical and simple written tasks that will be formally assessed by your tutor.

What Happens Next

Apply online via the College website. You will be contacted to come into College if required, or you will be sent a conditional offer according to the entry requirements for the course. You will then be invited to enrol for your chosen course of study.
