Course Overview

This is an online short course that will give you a qualification in the Awareness of bullying in children and young people. You will have the support of a tutor and will receive feedback for each submission.

You will explore the many forms that bullying can take, how to recognise bullying and what action you can take to stop it. Importantly the course looks at why people might become bully’s and who you can support the potential bully

What You'll Learn

Year 1

The course consists of the following 4 units.

Principles of bullying.
Recognising bullying in children and young people.
Action to be taken when a child or young person is being bullied.
Understand government guidelines for bullying.

Content includes the long term effects of bullying, what cyber bullying is and how the Equality Act supports victims and what government and Ofsted guidance says about bullying.

Entry Requirements

You need to be over 19 have lived in the EU for the past 3 years and currently live in England.

How you will be assessed

The course is online, you will receive a login to our learning platform where you will find learning materials and the assessments. You will be given deadlines to complete the work by.
