Leicester College is committed to providing the highest standards of support to learners who have a disability or learning difficulty.

We have specialist staff who can support learners with:

  • Profound, severe and multiple learning difficulties
  • Behavioural, emotional or social difficulties
  • Physical impairments or medical difficulties
  • Mental health issues
  • Sensory impairments
  • And any other disability-related need.

We will work closely with you and your teaching staff to ensure that your needs are met -whether you require an inclusion worker for personal care, behaviour or learning support; specialist equipment, note-taking or communication support; help with transport and/or moving around college; or help with accessing the curriculum or information.

We want all learners to succeed, feel supported and be included in all aspects of College life. We will also ensure that you feel empowered and are fully involved in any discussions regarding the support you receive.
