Lisa-Marie has achieved a Level 3 T Level in Education and Childcare at Leicester College. She plans to continue her studies at the University of Derby, studying an undergraduate degree in special educational needs and disabilities.

Why T levels at Leicester College?

Lisa-Marie shares: “Taking the T Level course felt the best fit for me. With having two days on a placement, I had a lot of work experience which I felt made me more employable in a workplace, as well as getting that studying with the three days in college.”

Gaining more than just an education

She continues: “During my college years, I enjoyed my placement the most. I enjoyed gaining that knowledge and practice, and putting my own understandings into work.

“My placement also helped me to find out where I want to be in life, due to the vast surroundings of childcare.”

Plans for the future

“I would fully recommend a T Level course to any person as it provides you with both areas of learning, practical and theoretical. It was an easy balance and helped so much.  

“I want to one day work with children who have special needs and help them grow into their own individual person,” concludes Lisa-Marie.
